2012 looks like its going to be Bumper year for Music Festivals, already we have been getting huge amounts of info on line-ups, new festivals and dates.

We are busy trying to list all the festivals we know about, but if you know of any we have missed please post the festival to our listings page, its easy and free!
Or if you prefer just let us know and we'll post it for you.

I myself have not arranged any festivals yet f0r 2012 but am looking at sending out requests in the next couple of months. One festival that we featured on our review site, www.poppedculture.co.uk, was The Bearded Festival which has gone onto win awards for itself and one which I hope to be at this year.

Gearing up for the season....

Its almost the end of January and the festival info has been coming in thick and fast, lots of new festivals as well as ones I didn't know existed!
It's time I started planning out which ones I'm going to and this year I've had to work on only 4 weeks off instead of my own work time which I could juggle about easily.
my other site is www.poppedculture.co.uk and through that myself and Mike the reviews editor have been lucky enough to get to a fair few festivals every year since 1999 and tonight we had a Costa coffee meeting to work on what festivals we were attending this year.

I have some favourites that we also get to but this year I'm hoping to get to a few new ones, small and large to get a fuller flavour of what's out there.
With the review site we would always get in the news on UK festivals, sometimes the European ones but this year with this new site we have been getting news in from festivals further afield, even Australia!
Well we can't make Australia this year although Mike did get to a few there about 5 years ago, but we are looking at a few just over the water in France and Germany.

So with all our new found info on festivals Mike and I are gearing up for this years crop, fitness training, checking out new bands, and pulling out the camping gear... bring it on!

The launch is getting nearer and so is 2011, we only have 12 festivals under our belt for next year but really need to have so many more booked.... will try harder next week!

Would like to be going further afield for new music and festival experiences, such as the http://benicassimfestival.co.uk/ still perhaps next year, (2012)
