Way back in June 2009, saw 10,000 student revelers from across the country once again travel to celebrate the end of exams and the beginning of summer, for 3 days and nights of pure beach side life loving!

2009 the festival was entering its third year, Beach Break Live played host to 10,000 students from across the UK for the beautiful boutique 3 day, 3 night festival set on a hilltop overlooking a stunning sandy beach in North Cornwall, combining a killer-line up – previous acts including The Enemy, The Wombats, The Cribs, Mr Scruff, Pendulum, Stanton Warriors, Scratch Perverts and many more. BBL will also hosted endless festival fun including The Mighty Cornish Goblet, Barn Dancing and Burlesque, adrenalin pursuits and the big fancy dress finale…
Beach break live were honing their talent to seek the silly in 2009, with all new craic including the world’s biggest pyjama party (midnight feasts, pillow fights, giant spin the bottle etc etc.) and returning with some of 2008 favourites – pimp my sheep anyone….?
Being a very green and organic festival they were keeping their impact on the environment low and their focus on local sourcing and supporting the local area high – including well priced locally sourced food and beer at £2.50 a drink! Keeping to their roots, the community vibe that earned BBL a nomination for ‘Best New Festival’ in the 2007 and ‘Best Small Festival’ in 2008 (UK festival awards) will live on.
Tickets for 2009 were priced at a student friendly £84 with the options of booking coach travel, which run from most universities across the UK, and to come down and set up camp a day early for no extra cost!
Whats even better is that we were there…… Rock On!
Look out for interviews, reviews and tons of photo’s coming up on Festival Diaries later.
